Sample Allocation
There are likely to be large time gaps between each of IMMAGE's drilling expedition, and there is significant uncertainty in the scheduling of both onshore drilling legs. As a result, longer and more extensive management of sample use will be required than is typical for either ICDP or IODP. This will be achieved through moratorium periods and sample allocation committee oversight, in order to ensure sufficient core can be retained to meet all Land-2-Sea scientific objectives.

It is essential that all researchers obtain approval from the IMMAGE Management Board before planning any research using IMMAGE core materials or data.
